Console CommandMoveTo
PlaceAtMe
Usageplayer.moveto refID
player.placeatme baseID
prid refID, moveto player
Exampleplayer.moveto a2c94
prid a2c94, moveto player
Descriptionprid refID will target an NPC with their Reference ID, and then moveto player will teleport that NPC to your current location. player.moveto refID will teleport you to any NPC's current location, using that NPC's Reference ID. player.placeatme will spawn a new instance (a new copy) of that NPC at your current location, using that NPC's Base ID - so be careful with this command! Leading zeroes in the IDs do not need to be typed in.
MoveTo commands do not always work. The problem may be related to distance from NPC, NPC being in another cell, or NPC being in another worldspace. If anyone can help clear this up, please contact me - it would be much appreciated.
HelpYou can open the console in Skyrim on the PC by pressing the tilde ~ key. Using Skyrim's console will not affect Steam achievements. Always be careful when using the console!
DLC CodesThe first two digits of the Form IDs for DLC codes are shown in red. That's because these numbers will change based on your DLC and mod load order. The numbers shown are the default numbers with no user mods and all official DLC installed.

Skyrim has an incredible number of characters, enemies, animals, creatures and other NPCs. With gameplay driven by quests, NPCs are a very important part of games like Skyrim. All characters have a base ID code and a reference ID code. Named characters have unique reference ID codes used to track them in the game. Generic enemies and characters will not have unique reference ID codes. These codes can be used in Skyrim's in-game console on the PC in order to locate wandering or missing NPCs. Skyrim has greatly improved the look of characters compared to the previous games Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, however, many appearance improvement mods have been created by modders.

While it's only possible to review a small number of the game's characters, I hope that this might help you find the spelling of some character's names if you're unsure what to search for in the database list of NPCs above.

One of the features most anticipated from Skyrim's storyline is the inclusion of dragons. There are a number of key dragons in the game - Alduin, Paarthurnax, Vuljotnaak, Sahloknir, Nahagliiv and Viinturuth. Skyrim's first DLC, Dawnguard, also introduced some other named dragons - Durnehviir, Naaslaarum and Voslaarum.

Besides a number of different types of dragons, Skyrim has some fierce creatures that you'll find and battle with in the wilderness. These include trolls, giants, Dwarven mechnical creatures, Atronachs, spiders, ice wraiths, spriggans and wispmothers. There is also a very satisfying amount of wildlife and other animals in the game world, including bears, chickens, cows, deers, dogs, foxes, goats, horkers, horses, wolves, mammoths, mudcrabs, rabbits, sabre cats, skeevers and slaughterfish. Skyrim's first DLC, Dawnguard, also introduced gargoyles.

In Skyrim, you can have followers. Followers are NPCs that will accompany you on quests. Skyrim offers improved follower management compared to previous Bethesda games. Just some of the notable followers in Skyrim come from the following categories. There's the Companions, such as Aela the Huntress, Farkas, Vilkas and others. Hirelings are mercenaries, or followers for hire. They include Belrand, Erik the Slayer, Jenassa, Marcurio, Stenvar and Vorstag. Housecarls are also followers, including Argis the Bulwark, Calder, Iona, Jordis the Sword-Maiden and Lydia. Skyrim's first DLC, Dawnguard, adds the character Serana, who accompanies you during much of the DLC and will quest with you after the main story is complete. You will find many other followers in your travels, including some animals!

The rulers of the land of Skyrim are known as Jarls, who are responsible for regions of the province known as holds. The Jarls play a pivotal part in Skyrim's storyline. Some of these Jarls include Balgruuf the Greater, Brunwulf Free-Winter, Elisif the Fair, Idgrod Ravencrone, Laila Law-Giver, Maven Black-Briar, Thongvor Silver-Blood, Ulfric Stormcloak and Vignar Gray-Mane.

Skyrim's cast of characters includes merchants, shop owners, adventurers, warriors, diplomats, townsfolk, hunters, mages, thieves, guards, soldiers, captains, prisoners, children and many more characters of various races. The major races in the world of Skyrim include Nord, Imperial, Breton, Redguard, Orc, Argonian, Khajiit, Altmer (High Elf), Bosmer (Wood Elf), Dunmer (Dark Elf), Falmer, Hagraven and Snow Elf.

Just some of the memorable characters in Skyrim include Arngeir of the Greybeards, Esbern and Delphine of the Blades, Brynjolf, Karliah, Mercer Frey, Delvin Mallory and Vex of the Thieves Guild, Tolfdir from the College of Winterhold, and many merchants, including Niranye, Nurelion, Quintus Navale, Zaria, Angeline Morrard, Bersi Honey-Hand, Grelka, Adrianne Avenicci and Belethor.

Some of the key characters introduced in the Dawnguard DLC include Serana, Lord Harkon, Valerica, Celann, Dexion Evicus, Isran, Malkus and Katria.
