Weather in Skyrim is much more realistic than previous Bethesda games, but could still use improvement. The effect of snow accumulating on objects doesn't look that great. Still, Skyrim's environments are greatly improved from Bethesda's previous games Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. There are some nice weather effects, and the game world is beautiful. They could still do a lot more with lighting, especially outdoors, as demonstrated by several pieces of concept art that show amazing mood in the environments. Skyrim is an action-adventure role playing game created by Bethesda Softworks available for PC, Xbox and PS3. The first DLC for this game, Dawnguard, is available now for Xbox and PC. Console commands can only be used on the PC version of the game. Skyrim is © 2011 Bethesda Softworks LLC, a ZeniMax Media company.
